The Library Theatre, Sheffield
The Library Theatre, the usual venue for our performances, is part of the Central Library building on Surrey Street. The entrance is at the back of the building on Tudor Square next to the Lyceum Theatre (underneath the "organ pipes"). The theatre is used by a number of amateur groups on a regular basis and seats 260. It is in "Art Deco" style, with a comfortable intimate auditorium and traditional proscenium stage. There is a small foyer bar open before performances and during intervals, together with cloakroom facilities.
On the advice of South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service wheelchair access to the Library Theatre is no longer available.

Getting there
by car
Street parking in the immediate area is extremely limited and can be difficult. There are some spaces for the disabled. Meters operate until 8.30pm. The only access is up Norfolk Street from Arundel Gate. There is a large but expensive NCP car park in Norfolk Street just below the Crucible Theatre and other mostly less expensive options a little further away.
by public transport
Bus stops in High Street and Arundel Gate and the tram stops at Castle Square and the Cathedral are about 5 minutes walk away. The Transport Interchange & train station are about 10 minutes walk away.
